Compansol knows the importance of getting access to higher education for all trio students so they can advance and sustain themselves in a competitive economy. By shaping their careers these future leaders will help build a stronger society for all of us. Trio staff can also use this scholarship to take advantage of opportunities for continuing their professional development. Bringing Education and Success Together (BEST) scholarship fund is a program available for all trio students and staff. Scholarship awards are based on academic achievement, leadership, contributions to school and community, character, and financial need. We also know that unexpended circumstance can happen to anyone. Hence, this fund may also be used in case of emergency by trio students and staff in need of financial relief due to an illness or a major unplanned expense.
1. Applicant must be a Student or Staff of a TRiO Program (Grant)
2. Applicants must be a US citizen. The BEST Scholarship Awards are awarded without regard to race, sex, religion, age, national origin or sexual orientation. BEST will not award scholarships to applicants who are not qualified and reserves the right not to award a scholarship in a given year.
The program awards up to $ 1,000.00/per applicant in fund money each year. Awards are for one year only, but recipients may re-apply for a second year. All Scholarship awards will be paid directly to the recipients. The board members of the fund committee may combine awards for particular applicants based on the financial need of the applicant.
The selection committee is comprised of TRiO leaders that have being associated with the TRiO community for over 30 years.

The deadline to submit the application is November 30th each year.
The winners are notified via email on the application form by March each year.
The awards will be disbursed by the end of April each year.
